The Christian Community of God’s Delight offers a number of programs and ministries to support our youth as well as the students who attend Mount St. Michael Catholic School (MSMCS).
As members of the Christian Community of God’s Delight, we believe that our children are our future. Because of that, we have several youth oriented programs and ministries including Children’s Ministry, Camp Jesus (our annual Summer Camp), and our annual All Saints Party.
Our Children’s Ministryis a ministry focused on ensuring that our younger children have the opportunity during our prayer meetings to hear our Lord in a space and way that accommodates their ability to comprehend. The ministry is for children aged 5 through 10. They meet during the prayer meeting following praise & worship until the closing prayer. One of the most exciting ministries for our youth is the annual Camp Jesus Summer Camp held early in June after local schools adjourn for the Summer. The camp meets Monday through Friday with days filled with activities and opportunities for children to experience Jesus and celebrate God’s Love and being children of God. Camp Jesus typically opens annual registration early March and closes in late April. For more information, please contact [email protected].Also serving our children is the All Saints Party team. As an
alternative to Halloween (that seems to celebrate death), we host an All Saints Party for our children and the students of Mt. St. Michael Catholic School. Instead of ghoulish costumes, children are required to dress up as saints, angels, shepherds, and other biblical characters. There are games, prizes, food, and lots of candy.
