VCatholic
We are a body of people of all ages, backgrounds and walks of life. We desire to live a Catholic Christian life of commitment and service to the Lord, our families, one another and to the Church. We are a founding member of the The Catholic Fraternity of Charismatic Covenant Communities and Fellowships, a worldwide private association of lay faithful, of pontifical right, established by Pope John Paul II on November 30, 1990. We are totally committed individually and as a community to the mission of evangelism.
VCharismatic
The Community of God's Delight developed from a Catholic Charismatic prayer group. Each member is baptized in the Holy Spirit . We acknowledge the God-given grace of a personal relationship with Jesus and the presence of his spiritual gifts operating daily in our lives.
VCovenant
During a retreat, March 24, 1973, 73 brothers and sisters made a solemn covenant to the Lord, to our families and to one another. We made this commitment in obedience to what we believed the Lord told us to do.
VCommunity
The Lord named us God's Delight and blessed us with a special gift of praise and worship. He has used this gift to influence the Catholic Charismatic Renewal throughout the world. Tens of thousands of people have experienced conversion and the presence of God in the conferences and prayer meetings we sponsor.
The personal witness of individual Community members and their families are a vital accompaniment to this effort. Our life as a Community strives to foster, promote and live the committed Christian life prescribed in Sacred Scripture and the traditions of the Catholic Church.
